A motorcycle meetup app does one job: it shows you the riders around you and gives you a simple way to meet up. Not routes, not lap timers, not a feed to scroll — just the introduction that turns strangers on the same roads into people you actually ride with. What a meetup app should actually do

Most riding apps grew out of navigation. They record your route, plot your GPX, count your miles — and somewhere down the feature list there's a social tab nobody uses. Rallypoint comes at it from the opposite end. The map is the point: open it and you see riders near you, each with their bike and a line about them, close enough to arrange a coffee run but never pinned to an exact address.

The three things a meetup app has to get right are discovery (who's near me), contact (how do I say hello), and a plan (where and when do we meet). Rallypoint does all three in about four taps, and stays out of the way for everything else — the roads you take are yours to choose.

How it works

Open Rallypoint in your phone's browser and set the area you ride from. The map fills with riders around you. Message anyone directly, or drop a meeting point — a pin, a time, and a note like "coffee at the café, 10am Sunday, all welcome." Riders nearby see it and tap to join. If you'd rather look before you leap, hidden mode lets you browse without appearing on anyone else's map.

Because it's a web app, there's no app store and no download wait — it installs to your home screen straight from the browser and opens full-screen like any other app. And it's free to use.

Privacy comes first, not last

Putting your location into an app is a fair thing to hesitate over. Rallypoint's answer is to never show your exact position to anyone: other riders see the rough area you choose, accurate to about a kilometre — enough to know someone's local, nowhere near enough to find your bike. Live location is opt-in only, and hidden mode keeps you off the map entirely while you still search. No ads, no selling data.

Pro riders get more

The core is free forever. An optional Pro tier (a few pounds a month) adds social perks — advanced filters, a bigger search radius, badges, and Ride Outs: meeting points with a destination, a set pace, a rider cap, and public or invite-only visibility. Still no route plotting — Rallypoint is the social layer, and it stays that way on purpose.
